Eve's Drop is my debut full-length album featuring exclusively original music. While it is difficult to pay homage to all of my interests in one set of music, these songs draw influence from a lot of the things I love – blues, Ellingtonia, the “Spanish tinge,” as well as classical music, folk music, and literature. These songs were written for and performed by people who are not only fantastic musicians, but people who I'm fortunate to call my friends. They were recorded with all the musicians together in one room, Montréal's iconic Sala Rossa. I hope that listeners will be transported into the world of these songs.
